Valencia High School's new principal Mr. Hector Vasquez is on campus today shadowing Mr. Lopez who was recently promoted to Director of Personnel. He met with staff in library before the start of 1st period and then shadowed Mr. Lopez.

We are proud to announce that 80% of our AVID Seniors were accepted to a four-year university in the fall. The AVID seniors committed to their respective schools on a college signing day in their AVID 12 classroom. We wish our AVID seniors much success in their future educational endeavors.

Congratulations to VHS Building Industry Technology Academy (BITA) teacher Roy Morrison and his program for capturing 1st place at the recent Orange County Design / Build Competition. The Tigers are one of two Southern California schools advancing to the statewide competition held June 27th-28th at the State Capital building in Sacramento.
