"The Valencia Girls Basketball Team is selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a pair of Prom Tickets. Raffle tickets are $5.00 each and will be sold in front of the cafeteria during both lunches on Thursday, March 9; Tuesday, March 14; and Thursday, March 16. The winning ticket will be drawn during announcements on Friday, March 17. All proceeds will benefit the Valencia Lady Tigers. Thank you for your support!!!"

Ms. Young's science students did a lab outdoors to take advantage of the good weather.

Congratulations to Valerie Narumi who was invited to present her charitable 3D printing activities at the "Girls & Tech at JPL" event held at JPL's Theodore von Kármán Auditorium in Pasadena. Valerie exhibited and presented her work to other high school and college students and had opportunities to hear from women working at JPL.

Valerie has been actively 3D printing different prosthetics for a 7-year-old girl from the Pasadena area, and participating in e-NABLE community chapter meetings. Last year, she also received a $100 micro-grant from e-NABLE Outreach to help purchase filament and other supplies to provide free prosthetics to her recipients.
