Women In Industry (Empowered)!!
The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) is proud to present its inaugural Women in Industry Conference, an inspirational event geared towards empowering the next generation of female leaders through 21st century learning.
Families and students of all ages are encouraged to attend this conference for the opportunity to learn from an esteemed panel of female captains of industry who represent diverse professional sectors including keynote speakers, Sue Enquist and Candy Plahy.
Notable female industry leaders such as Executive Vice President for Universal Television, Erin Underhill, President of Crème de la Crème, Inc., Jennifer Wilson, and CIS/CSR Professor at Coastline College, Tobi West will also participate on the panel and share firsthand experiences involving their journeys, positions, and successes through a ‘Q & A’ session. PYLUSD Career Technical Education (CTE) Academy students will serve as hosts and moderators to the event in order to incorporate a student’s viewpoint with the professional perspectives of the panel members.
