The mission of the National YoungArts Foundation is to “identify and support the next generation of artists in the visual, literary, design and performing arts; assist them at critical junctures in their educational and professional development; and raise appreciation for the arts in American society.”

This time, fifth-ranked Valencia dominated the competition, defeating El Dorado, 3-0, in the championship match. The Tigers (11-0) shut out four of their five opponents in the tournament, and gave up one goal during that span.

As we make the transition in leadership of the VHS football program, I am pleased to share that Shawn Racobs has been selected to serve as the next Head Coach of Tiger Football.

As many of you may have heard, Coach Mike Marrujo announced that he is retiring as our Head Football Coach. Coach Marrujo established himself as one of the most successful and respected coaches in Orange County history with 15 League Championships, 3 CIF Runner-Ups, and 3 CIF Championships. Over the course of 35 years, Coach led the Tiger Football Program with passion and devotion, earning a career record of 306-151-1. He exemplifies Pride - Tradition - Excellence and his leadership will be deeply missed.
