Ventures such as Val Tech, International Baccalaureate and the Cambridge International programs offer students a rigorous and intensive four-year curriculum that will open doorways to exciting opportunities after high school graduation. In addition to these offerings, Valencia continues its commitment to academic excellence creating high expectation in a nurturing environment.
Our well-rounded curriculum in math, language arts, health, science, physical education and social studies is based on the Common Core State Standards. Beyond these core curricular areas, VHS offers numerous elective courses in business and technology, foreign language, and industrial arts including Advanced Placement courses in nearly every content area. We are also home to an award-winning visual and performing arts department, which provides students access to some of the finest programs in the district.
