Alice Lin established the Chinese Language and Culture Program at Valencia High School, Canyon High School, and Yorba Linda High School in Southern California in 2008-2009. She currently is a full-time Chinese instructor at Valencia High School and also serves as an AP reader and IB examiner.
She earned her B.A. degree in Chinese Literature from Soochow University, Taipei, Taiwan, and M.A degree in Education from Concordia University, Irvine, California. She received her teaching credential in Chinese from the Credential Teaching Program at California State University at Fullerton. She was on the board of directors of the Chinese Language Teachers’ Association in Southern California (CLTA-SC) and currently the president of CLTA-SC. In both the summers of 2014 and 2015, she had the opportunity to take a group of Chinese teachers from Southern California to Taiwan to attend the Summer Teacher Training Program in National Cheng Kung University. She also hosted students from Beijing for the international student study program at Valencia high school.
