I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with my B.A. in Liberal Studies with a minor in Human/Child Development. Then I completed the Education Specialist Moderate/Severe Credential from CSULB. I began teaching in 2003 at Eader Elementary in Huntington Beach City School District. My 2nd year in HBCSD, I completed my Master's degree in Teaching at National University. In 2005, I left HBCSD and was hired by Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District at Tynes Elementary. After 4 years at teaching at Tynes, a transfer opportunity to teach at the high school was given to me. I have taught at Valencia since 2010.
