hi guys so sorry I'm not there today I hope that you guys had a wonderful break full of fun miss and love I am working on moving into my new house. I was telling you guys about before the break when you painted the walls and scrape the ceilings we got new floors and now I'm moving everything in and we got the keys a week later than we thought we would so I just needed an extra day to get all that stuff in but I will show you a picture tomorrow I hope you guys like your motivation on Monday I just wanted to remind you to erase the inner kid inside yourself every once in a while and have some fun even if it's with a little bit dorky or weird what that mean said say we are talking about measures of center and variation are your sense of question is how can you describe the variation of a data set need to continue popping on the essential question but I feel like I probably Ramble On long enough I believe what you guys have lots of definitions to go ahead and copy down but hopefully these words are all words cytosine before are the mean the median and the most and all three of those are measures of center so measure of center is a measure that represents the center or typical value of a data set the mean that's when you add up all the numbers and then divide by the number of numbers with their are or number of values of there are the median is the middle number so just whatever want smack dab in the middle and in the mood is the number or numbers that happen the most and the thing to know about the mole is that there may was 9.3 but go ahead and forget your calculator see if I'm right so this means that the average Bridge wait is $9 $0.35 which is pretty good although I think hourly wages are going up to $10 an hour but actually out of all the numbers and then divided by however many there are the median medium is the one in the middle stop I like to since I already have my numbers in order and this is really the and do this all in one video and see how long it takes to work a table that displays the frequency of various outcomes in a sample so I just wanted to do frequency table because it shows up on your homework tonight and last year I'm a bunch of kids did it wrong because they just didn't understand what frequency table meant so frequency table so this is saying that there was one person who had zero sibling there were four people who have one sibling there are 6 people who have two siblings or people who have 3 siblings so when I'm writing these numbers out to figure out what the mean median is modus I'm going to write 0 one time one four times 2 6 * cakes ever made shoes are going to strangle how can we go three four times 542 * and five ones so frequency tables telling you how many times each number occurs and so then now you guys can go ahead and do this on your own I'll show you guys the answers in just a second mean median mode and range there's just going to be the answer is
