The personal statement prompts will remain unchanged for the upcoming application cycle. Students are encouraged to begin working on their personal statements over the summer.

Back to School Days Registration will be held from August 17th-August 21st.

Space is limited to 30 students and they are encouraged to attend both sessions. They will leave the second session with a completed college essay in hand and there is no cost for the class. Students can register through our District website by clicking on the Parent University tab, then clicking on "Navigating the College System" and the class is listed last on the page.

Students other than Juniors are welcome to attend, but Juniors are the primary audience.

The summer school portal for PCHS (college-prep, online courses) is now open. The following link contains more information on the application process. The deadline for incoming Academy students to turn in their PCHS Health applications is April 3rd. The deadline for current VHS students to turn in their PCHS applications is May 1st.

VHS students enrolled in AP classes can purchase their AP exams from February 17th-March 18th through the VHS webstore or the Finance Office on campus. Valencia High School does not administer AP exams to non-students.

The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District values the active role parents take in their child’s education. In order to support this relationship, the District is implementing a parent education program this school year entitled “Parent University.” The district will offer free workshops on various educational topics throughout the school year so parents can become better equipped to support their child’s learning. Research indicates that when schools work together with families to support learning, students perform better in school and throughout life.
