Students, do you want to show universities that you are college ready? Would you like to earn free transferable college credits now? Fullerton College is offering College Link courses, where students can take college classes after school at VHS. This spring we will have Intro to Biotechnology, Intro to Art, and Asian Pacific American History. Come to the College and Career Center to sign up!

Tiger families, do you want to learn more about what is required to get into college? Tiger University will be hosting a College Entrance Requirements workshop, on Monday, December 9th at 7:30am or 3:00pm in the College and Career Center. Come to find out more about what steps you should be taking in order to be eligible for a 4 year college. Parents and students are welcome!

The Valencia Service Committee is hosting Tiger’s Closet- a chance for Valencia students to get free clothes! Stop by the MPR on November 13 from 7:30am-4pm to check it out!

Do you want to earn free College credit while in high school? Fullerton College will be offering 3 classes at VHS this Fall- Introduction to Art, Ethnic Studies, and Music Appreciation. Sign up early as courses start right away! Students can visit Mrs. Hughes in the VHS College and Career Center through the end of the school year or email Bryce Hamamoto ([email protected]) during the summer for details.

"Link Crew is a Club at Valencia High School in which upperclassmen (juniors and seniors) are paired with freshmen. Your responsibility as a member of Link Crew will be to reach out, connect and befriend freshmen. You will need to make 5 - 10 cards and letters per event and you will need to attend ALL events outside of school hours (you will only get one exception). Events will include, but are not limited to, a May training day, an August training/freshman seminar day, early arrival to the first day of school, a football game tailgate, movie nights, a cram session around finals time and writing letters to your freshmen about once a month. Dates are TBD and events are subject to change. We are looking for outgoing and highly motivated students who will support and connect with younger students at VHS. If you cannot attend events or create cards/letters please do not apply.
