Eight countries sent their national teams to Irvine, California from June 28th to July 5th, 2015 to compete. Current and former Valencia High School students involved in the Val-Tech program and Video Production classes, live streamed all 32 games of World Cup X 2015. Sue Sawyer and VHS alumni Bryan Escalante, Grant Bagne, Crystal Sayphraraj, Gloria Garcia and Josh Garcia led a crew of current Tigers in producing the event. They received over 100K hits on the site and used the latest in technology including 4K cameras, a TriCaster, and old fashioned work ethic. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to use the skills developed in the classroom in a real world situation.
