Publication
This course offers students the opportunity to compose, edit, create, and evaluate their product in a form of media. This media will ultimately become a magazine or other form of publication. El Tigre is an course in writing, and photography, design, editing, and marketing. Students will learn and practice these skills as they produce the VHS school magazine, El Tigre, every semester. The course does require students to be self-directed in accomplishing the following, but not limited to – deadlines, some after school hours, marketing contacts via email and phone. Joining El Tigre is a way to connect to your school and document its historical and noteworthy progression. We work as a team, accomplishing all tasks as a unit and making sure everyone has a hand in the magazine’s achievements. Remember, once a tiger, always a tiger!
